Meet Dr Mona Chung

Dr Mona Chong is a consultant at Harmony and expert in cross-cultural communication. With significant Chinese investors, Harmony has a strong commitment to understanding the intricacies of China. Mona is instrumental in bridging understanding on both sides and in helping us to build lasting and valued relationships.

Mona started consulting to Harmony in late 2019 when cross-cultural communication with China was at its lowest ebb in the company’s history. Since then, Mona has opened the door for Harmony on more nuanced and effective ways of working with China.

“I’m a consultant, but I really feel part of the team. I’ve been on many working trips with Anthony to China since 2020. And back in the office, everyone is very friendly. I assist in a range of activities from shipping to payments,” Mona said.

Demand in China for high-quality beef and specifically Wagyu continues to grow, and Harmony is well positioned to make the most of this opportunity.
