Discover the Omino difference.
Our Omino Wagyu is the modern Australian embodiment of Omi beef.
It’s inspired by the Omi beef tradition – a tradition that started more than 400 years ago and heralded a new age of Japanese meat culture.
Origins dating back centuries
The ethos of our Omino Wagyu beef originates in Japan’s bountiful Shiga Prefecture during the Edo period (1603-1868). It’s the home of Omi beef, and its provenance can be traced to the many modern Wagyu breeds of today. Omi beef’s premium quality remains the direct result of its pure environment, the skills of its producers and their long-held traditions of animal wellbeing.
It is this heritage of care and commitment that we share in producing our premium-branded Wagyu, Omino.
