Supporting the Australian Food Waste Challenge
Did you know that one third of all food produced globally is lost or wasted? In the Australian meat sector, this equates to 123,000 tonnes of beef, lamb, pork and chicken being wasted each year. Here at Harmony, being in both the food and agriculture sectors, we see this as a significant challenge that needs urgent attention and action.
That’s why we are proud to support the Australian Food Waste Challenge in addressing this issue, spearheaded by our very own Claire Dyason.
The Australian Food Waste Challenge is shining a light on the next big solutions in the fight against food loss and waste. It is the first of its kind globally, seeking to find and support Australia's best innovators in this space.
We encourage others in our industry to get behind it. It’s a complex challenge that will take many different people and ideas to solve.
